geometric properties of equality & congruence // geometry

i used the less than symbol, "<", in place of the angle symbol, "∠", and used "~=" instead of the congruence symbol, "≅", so everything's easier to type!

reflexive property of equality

any value is equal to itself (AB=AB)

reflexive property of congruence

any geometric object is congruent to itself (<Z~=<Z)

symmetric property of equality

the order of an equality can be changed (if XY=ZA, then ZA=XY)

symmetric property of congruence

the order of a congruence statement can be changed (if <Q~=<R, then <R~=<Q)

transitive property of equality

if two values are equal to a third value, then they are equal to each other (if KL=MN and MN=TR, then KL=TR)

transitive property of congruence

if two values are congruent to a third value, then they are congruent to each other (if <1~=<2 and <2~=<3, then <1~=<3)
