A character that you know alot about {Two dimensional}

Flat character

A character that is simple, they can be defined in 1or 2 traits {One dimensional}

Protagonist

Who the story is mainly about OFTEN called the "good guy" {Conflict happens to this character}

Antagonist

A character that actively goes against the protagonist OFTEN called the "bad guy" {Causes the conflict}

Characterization

A process by which the writer reveals the personality of a character

Direct characterization

Writer TELLS the audience the personality of a character

Indirect characterization

SHOWS things that reveal the personality of a character {Think STEAL}

Point of view

The perspective from which a story is narrated

First person

Uses the pronouns I or WE

Second person

Is told through the pronoun YOU {Like cookbook style}

Third person

Uses the pronouns HE/SHE/THEY
