ۥ نِدَآءً خَفِيًّۭا

cried loudly

وَإِنِّى خِفْتُ ٱلْمَوَٰلِىَ مِن وَرَآءِى

I fear for my people

وَكَانَتِ ٱمْرَأَتِى عَاقِرًۭا

and my wife is barren

يَرِثُنِى وَيَرِثُ

who will inherit me

يَعْقُوبَ ۖ وَٱجْعَلْهُ رَبِّ رَضِيًّۭا

and make him pleased with my lord

إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَـٰمٍ ٱسْمُهُۥ يَحْيَىٰ لَمْ

We deliver you good news of a son named yahya

كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌۭ

It's easy for me

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱجْعَل لِّىٓ ءَايَةًۭ ۚ

Give me a sign

ثَلَـٰثَ لَيَالٍۢ سَوِيًّۭا

Your sign is to not speak to anyone for 3 nights

أَن سَبِّحُوا۟ بُكْرَةًۭ وَعَشِيًّۭا

Morning and night

خُذِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ بِقُوَّةٍۢ ۖ

hold the TORAH firmly

وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُ ٱلْحُكْمَ صَبِيًّۭا

And we gtrant him wisdom as a child

وَبَرًّۢا بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ

Duitful to his parents

وَسَلَـٰمٌ عَلَيْهِ

and peace be upon him

وَيَوْمَ يُبْعَثُ

the day he ressurructs
