Heathen
A person who is not religious or whose religion is not Judaism, Islam, or especially Christianity.
Widely Held
Known or believed by a lot of people; powszechny.
Adherent
Someone who obeys a particular set of rules, principles; zwolennik/zwolenniczka.
Quran (Koran)
The central religious text of Islam, believed by Muslims to be a revelation directly from God.
Rabbi
A spiritual leader or religious teacher in Judaism.
Scholar
Someone who has studied a subject and knows a lot about it; uczony.
Synagogue
A building in which Jewish people pray.
Assembly
A group of people who meet for a particular purpose; zgromadzenie.
Congregation
A group of people meeting to worship in church; wierni, zgromadzenie wiernych.
Religious Worship
A ceremony where people show respect for a god by saying prayers; nabożeństwo religijne.
Mosque
A building where Muslims say their prayers; meczet.
Minaret
A tower on a mosque from which the call to prayer is sounded.
Muezzin
A man who calls Muslims to prayer from the tower of a mosque.
Decalogue
The Ten Commandments; the rules of behaviour God gave to Israel through Moses on Mount Sinai.
Pilgrimage
A journey, especially a long one, made to some sacred place as an act of religious devotion; pielgrzymka.
Sacred
Considered to be holy and deserving respect, especially because of a connection with a god; święty.
Religious Devotion
The fact of following religious teachings, or religious worship; religijne oddanie.
Monotheism
The belief that there is only one god; monoteizm.
Doctrine
A belief or set of beliefs, especially political or religious ones, that are taught and accepted by a particular group; doktryna.
Polytheism
A belief in or worship of more than one god; politeizm.
Parish
A small administrative district typically having its own church and a priest or pastor; parafia.
Anachronistic
Existing out of its time in history; anachronistyczny (?), archaiczny.
Eagerly
In a way that shows that you want to do or have something very much; ochoczo, chętnie.
Temple
A place of religious worship, usually referring to a non-Christian religion; świątynia.
To be Granted a Permission
To receive a formal agreement to do something; uzyskać pozwolenie.
Bureaucratic
Referring to bureaucracy, which means complicated rules and processes used by an organization, especially those that seem unnecessary; biurokratyczny.
Revival
A situation in which something becomes popular again; odrodzenie, renesans.
Make-believe
A state of mind in which you pretend to believe that conditions are real, esp. because that reality would be more pleasant than the actual one; pozór, symulacja (?)

Killed (as a punishment) by being dropped with a rope tied around the neck; powieszony.

Cattle

A special meal with very good food or a large meal for many people; uczta.
Caterer
A person or company that makes or serves food; dostawca, catering (?)
Respectable
Behaving in a socially acceptable way or looking socially acceptable; porządny, przyzwoity, poważny
Made Up
Invented, not true; zmyślony
Leading Ideologue
A prominent person who strongly promotes and develops a particular set of ideas or beliefs, especially in politics or culture; czołowy ideolog.
A Compass of Imagination
The range or extent of someone's imagination or creative thinking; zakres wyobraźni.
Wicca
A modern religious form of witchcraft; wicca, wikka, wika (?)
Civil Servant
A person who works for local, state, or esp. the federal government; urzędnik administracji państwowej, urzędnik służby cywilnej

Unchristian

Deity
A god or goddess; bóstwo
Greedy

Folk Religion
A set of traditional religious beliefs and practices that are passed down through generations, often linked to local culture rather than organized religion; religia ludowa
Lapland
A region in northern Europe, mostly within the Arctic Circle, spanning parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Russia; Laponia
Mischievous
Behaving in a way, or describing behaviour, that is slightly bad but is not intended to cause serious harm or damage; figlarny, psotny.
Distinguishing Mark
A feature that makes someone or something clearly different from others; znak szczególny
Church Tax
A tax collected by the government or church to support religious institutions or activities; podatek kościelny.

Not tidy or well arranged; nieporządny
Tax Return
A document in which income is reported each year so that income tax can be calculated; zeznanie podatkowe, deklaracja podatkowa

Not having any connection with religion; świecki
Condemnation
The act of condemning something or someone; potępienie
Adultery
Sex between a married man or woman and someone he or she is not married to; cudzołóstwo
Hospitality
The act of being friendly and welcoming to guests and visitors; gościnność
Asylum Seeker
Someone who leaves their own country, often for political reasons or because of war, and who travels to another country hoping that the government will protect them and allow them to live there; uchodźca ubiegający się o azyl

The act of making something clean or pure, often used in religious, emotional, or symbolic contexts; oczyszczenie

Decrepit

Infidelity
(an act of) having sex with someone who is not your husband, wife, or regular sexual partner; zdrada, niewierność
Compliance
The act of obeying a law or rule, especially one that controls a particular industry or type of work; zgodność, uległość.
Acknowledgement
A letter or email to say that you have received something that someone sent to you; potwierdzenie
Observance
The act of obeying a law or following a religious custom; obchodzenie, przestrzeganie, obrzęd (religijny).

A toy with an outer fabric sewn from a textile and stuffed with flexible material; pluszak

A short section taken from a religious text like the bible, Quran, or Torah; fragment.
