Hypothesis
A prediction that can be expressed as a relationship between two variables.
Null Hypothesis (H0)
A statistical hypothesis asserting that no special relationship exists between the variables.
Alternative Hypothesis (H1)
A statistical hypothesis proposing that a relationship exists between the variables.
Statistical Hypothesis
Suggestions about the relationship between variables that can be tested through experimentation.
Reliability
The degree to which an experiment yields consistent results over time.
Validity
The extent to which a study accurately reflects or assesses the specific concept it claims to measure.
Sensitivity
The ability of a measurement to detect differences relevant to the research question.
Objectivity
The quality of being unbiased and objective in measurement.
Research Process
The systematic sequence of steps taken to conduct an experiment and obtain knowledge.
Statistical error
A deviation caused by randomness that can result in a false rejection (Type I) or false acceptance (Type II) of a hypothesis.
