fatty protection formed by glial cells

Nodes of rangier

Areas along axon without myelin sheath that allows action potential to move rapidly

Communication between neurons

Occurs at synapse ,either excites or inhibits postsynaptic neuron

White manner

Made up of myelinated axons - iron passes messages throughout the brain

Gray matter

Transmission-made up of neuronal cell bodies
