A type of chemical bond that occurs between a hydrogen atom and an electronegative atom

Hydrogen bond

A scale with a range of 0 to 14 that is used to measure the acidity or alkalinity of a solution

pH

A homogeneous mixture composed of a solvent and a solute.

Solution

A substance capable of dissolving other substances, typically in a liquid form.

Solvent

A substance that is dissolved in a solvent to form a solution.

Solute
