This means that a good or service must be of a high standard and fit their purpose E.g pair of oven glove should prevent heat coming through

A legally binding contract made between the consumer and the manufacturer, covering a good. Most be written and usually state a time limit on the guarantee.
Contract
A legal contract is formed between you (buyer) and the seller when you buy a good or pay for a service.
Small claims procedure
A way to deal with disputes regarding faulty goods or services. It’s very quick and easy. It’s cheap only costs €25. You don’t need a solicitor, but good/service must be below €2,000.
