slope
How steep a line is. It tells how much a line goes up or down as it moves side to side.

rise
How much a line goes up or down between two points.

run
How much a line moves side to side between two points.

negitive
The line goes down from left to right.

zero slope
A slope of 0 means the line is horizontal. This indicates that the y-value doesn't change as the x-value increases — the line is flat.

linear slope
The slope of a linear function shows how steep the line is. It represents the rate of change:

undefined slope
The slope of a vertical line is undefined because division by zero is not possible.
slope formula
The slope of a line passing through two points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) is calculated using the formula:m = \frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1}
