Dorsiflexion

Plantar flexion
Straightens the ankle joint; pointing your toes

Movement of a bone around its longitudinal (up and down) axis

Moving a limb away from the body midline

Moving a limb towards the body midline

Decreases the angle of the joint
Found in hinge joints and ball and socket joints

Increases the angle of the joint
Hyperextension-extension is > 180 deg
