Example: Fugue Disorder - you don’t know who you are and you travel

Dissociative Identity Disorder (multiple personalities)

  • the existence of 2 or more distinct personalities in the same person

  • they repress themselves and another person comes out; you dissociate

    Cause: childhood trauma that happens over a long period of time (physical/sexual abuse)

    Treatment: therapy (glueing together a broken vase)

  • you will never be the same again, but you can kind of fix it
