Nematodes

Oval-shaped flatworms with a digestive tube that ends in a cecum, functioning as hermaphrodites.

Parasitic flatworms that absorb nutrients through their skin and have a segmented body.
Zoonosis
An animal disease that can be transmitted to humans, often through direct contact or bites.
Rabies
A deadly viral infection affecting the central nervous system, primarily transmitted by animal bites.
Hantavirus
A member of the Bunyaviridae family, leading to severe respiratory and hemorrhagic diseases in humans.
Apicomplexans
A major group of parasites that includes species that cause malaria and babesiosis.
Scabies
A skin condition caused by mites that burrow into the skin and lay eggs, leading to inflammation.
Rickettsia
Small bacteria that require insect vectors for transmission, associated with various diseases.
Plague
Caused by Yersinia pestis, characterized by buboes and transmitted by fleas from infected rodents.
Lyme disease
