• Unequal distribution of money - some people are rich and some are poor

• Other areas such as health , education and crime

• Poverty levels have increased

• This is partly due to the cost of living crisis in 2021

• The rate of absolute poverty in the UK now stands at 22%

Discuss the facts relating to children in poverty in the UK

• In 2021/22 it was estimated that 4.22 million uk children were living in relative poverty

• This is a considerable increase when comparing to 2013/14 when it was just 2.28 million

• This is a significant increase of 90%
