Toxic

Any poisonous substance which may be harmful to the environment or hazardous to your health if inhaled, ingested or absorbed through the skin

Hazardous

A chemical substance that may cause harm or irritation if inhaled, ingested or absorbed through the skin. May damage the ozone layer.

Environmental hazard

Toxic to aquatic organisms and may cause long lasting effects in the environment.

Corrosive

A substance that will destroy and damage other substances with which it comes into contact. It can attack and destroy living tissues sch as skin and eyes.

Oxidising

Can burn even without air, or can intensify fire in combustible materials.

Flammable or Highly Flammable

Catches fire easily

Gas under pressure

Gas released may be very cold. Gas container may explode if heated.

Explosive

May explode if exposed to fire, heat, shock or friction.

Eye Protection must be worn

Hazardous to health

May cause serious and prolonged health effects on short or long term exposure.
