Ambivalence

(noun) having mixed or unsure feelings about something.

Emma felt ambivalence about sleepovers—she wanted to go, but she also missed her own bed.

Catalyze

(verb) to cause something to start or speed it up.

The teacher’s kind words helped catalyze the class into working harder.

Fabricate

(verb) – to make something up or invent it, sometimes dishonestly.
He fabricated a story about why his homework was missing.

Exploit

(verb) – to take advantage of something (sometimes unfairly).
The company tried to exploit kids by selling toys at very high prices.

Copious

(adjective) – a very large amount; plenty.
