Long:

The earliest form of management theory which emphasizes on production, management functions, and the best strategy to maximize job performance.

Short:
Focus on people and human-relation movements.

Long:
The modification of classical management which emphasizes on employees’ psychological factors such as job satisfaction, motivation, and dynamics.

What is the definition of Contemporary Management?

Short:
Flexibility and adaptivity of managers based on the situation. (kinda like a combination of the above two)

Long:
System approach: view the organization as a whole and its interconnected parts.
Contingency approach: there is no fixed techniques to solve a problem, rather it situational-dependent.
