After absorption from GI tract, glucose is distributed in the tissues and provides a prompt increase in circulating blood sugar

Oral Glucose action

Causes Blood Sugar to Increase by acting on Liver Glycogen, converting it into Glucose, Only Works if Patient has adequate Glycogen reserves

Epinephrine is a sympathomimetic, which stimulates both alpha and beta-adrenergic receptors causing immediate bronchodilation, increase in heart rate and an increase in the force of cardiac contraction

Aspirin action
