Planning stage where a project request or project proposal is submitted.
A steering committee will evaluate and assess all possible systems development that a firm may undertake.
feasibility of a proposed system can be evaluated in terms of five categories:
Operational feasibility
Technical feasibility
Economic feasibility
Human factor feasibility
Legal/political feasibility
What is System Analysis in SDLC ?
A phase that discovers why a system should be built by identifying the goal and objectives
The systems analyst studies the existing system and carries out the following activities:
Study how the current system works using data and information gathering techniques.
Determines user requirements
Recommends a solution. The solution is a logical design or logical model.
What is System Design in SDLC ?
consists of three activities:
interface design
data design
