how is he given to us?

He looks kindly and approachable, the character given in his face and the softer curvilinear use of line embody this, there are no harsh or jagged lines. The billowing white shirt is convincing, you can feel the softness of the material, too in the squirrel fur he wears. There is a keen observation of light.
