Active AAS Members
- Cadet enrolled in AFROTC or the Air Force Academy
- Completed a candidate program
- Paid all dues
- Remains in good standing with the squadron
Inactive AAS Members
- Any member who cannot meet the requirements of active membership
- Remains in good standing and continues to pay AAS national dues
- Qualifications are subject to squadron bylaws
AAS Associate
Members of Silver Wings, an association affiliated with AAS
Honorary AAS Member
An award for a person who is not eligible for membership, but has contributed greatly to Arnold Air Society
Who oversees squadron activation/reactivation?
The Frontier Squadron
How can a squadron be activated?
They must provide:
- Membership and officer rosters
- Squadron bylaws
- A letter of recommendation from the squadron advisor
- Completion of the squadron activation/reactivation worksheet
- Documentation from the university recognizing the squadron as a student organization
