Cornerback definition
a player on the defensive backfield in American football whose primary role is to cover opposing wide receivers to prevent them from catching passes
Quarterback definition
the offensive leader positioned behind the center, who directs the offense by calling plays, passing the ball, handing it to a running back, or running themselves. They are responsible for receiving the snap from the center, executing the play, and are often considered the face and leader of their team.
Safety definition
defensive backs who form the last line of defense, playing ten to fifteen yards behind the line of scrimmage to prevent big plays.
