Below the tyrant the captive figure of Justice lies bound. Crudelitas (Cruelty): Threatens an infant with a snake, portraying heartlessness and brutality.
Proditio (Deceit): A well-dressed man displaying a deceptive creature, resembling a lamb but equipped with a scorpion's tail.
Fraus (Fraud): Holds a stick, disguised as an elegant woman with clawed feet, emphasizing deceptive appearances.
Furor (Fury): A monstrous figure armed with a stone and a dagger, representing intense and uncontrolled anger.
Divisio (Division): Characterized by a saw, draped in a robe with Siena's colors, with the inscription "yes" and "no" symbolizing contradiction.
Guerra (War): Depicted as black and poised for action, representing conflict and aggression.
Superbia (Pride) is depicted with a dagger and a loose, broken jewel, symbolizing the contrasting virtue of humility
Avaritia (Avarice): Illustrated with a harpoon, representing the relentless pursuit of wealth, and two bags tightly clamped in a press.
Vanagloria (Vainglory): Adorned in sumptuous attire, the figure gazes into a mirror, revealing a dry branch as a symbol of fleeting and insubstantial glory.
