Goodwin et al Vodka Experiment

One group of subjects is given a lot of vodka and lemonade, the other is given a little vodka and lemonade. They are both told to study and get tested later on.

The groups that were drunk and studied drunk, did better than drunk subjects that tested when sober, and vice versa. The best performance was still when the subjects were sober at time of study and test.

Eich et al Mood experiment

When people are happy at time of study, they do better when tested happy. (Encoding specificity)
