Intersecting Chords
Products of the segments of chord = The product of the segments of other cord
(Segments are the two parts)
(This refers to their lengths)
Tangent Length
If two tangents are drawn from same point, then they are equal
Secant Segment Length (2 Secants)
The product of one secant's entire length and itās external length is = the same thing of the other secant
Tangent-Secant
The product of the secant whole length and itās external part is = Length of tangent²
(Whole)(External) = Tangent²
Circumference
C = Pi(d)
Area
A= pi(r)²
Arc length
Angle/360 = arc/circumference
One of these will be x, probably the arc (obviously)
Also, you will probably have to find circumference yourself
Sector Area
Angle/360 = Sector Area/Circle Area
Again, one will be x, probably sector Area.
Also you will probably have to find circle area yourself
Radian measure
Arc length/radius
Pi stays in the numerator
Properties
All radii are congruent
All diameters are congruent
If two chords are congruent, so are their intercepted arcs
Inscribed angles that intercept the same arc are congruent
Arcs between parallel chords are congruent
Tangent drawn from same point are congruent
Angle inscribed in semi circle is right angle
Quick definitions if u forgot!
Tangent: Segmant that touches outside of circle once
Secant: Segment that cuts circle at two points and goes outside of it
Chord: line segments joining an two points on circle
prob will add more later am lazy now even thought I have test in 3 periods!!!
Iām screwed
I made an extra flashcard on accident and didnāt feel like deleting it so hi im g and I love hannibal lecter ⤠(ALL versions š)
