Azygos
A vein that drains the thoracic wall and mediastinal structures.
Hemiazygos
A vein that drains the lower left thoracic wall and abdominal cavity into the azygos vein.

The xiphoid process, a small cartilaginous extension of the sternum.
m. Transversus thoracis
A muscle located on the inner surface of the thoracic wall.

The superficial fascia of the anterior abdominal wall.

The skin, which forms the outer protective layer of the body.
Psoas minor
A small muscle that assists in flexing the lumbar spine.
N. Iliohypogastric
A nerve that innervates the lower abdominal wall.
M. serratus anterior
A muscle that helps with the upward rotation of the scapula.
M. Deltoideus
The muscle forming the rounded contour of the shoulder.
Aorta thoracalis
