Homeostasis
Having balanced physical, internal, and chemical conditions in the body.
Stressor
Any condition or situation that unbalances homeostasis.

The feeling that you haven’t earned your success and perceiving yourself as a fraud.

Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-based goals.

The synthesis of the reasonable mind and emotional mind for wise decision-making.

The ability to perceive negative emotions as overwhelming and manage them effectively.

The process of losing rational thinking when emotionally upset, affecting the prefrontal cortex.

Stimulating or giving rise to strong or unwelcome emotions.
Cognitive Fusion
The tendency for behavior to be overly regulated and influenced by cognition.
Cognitive Defusion
Involves a change in the normal use of language and cognition to broaden thinking processes.
