mixtures are made up of 2 or more substances (elements / compounds) where no chemical combination has occurred. its compassion is not fixed.

what are the 2 types of mixtures?

1. homogeneous: uniform throughout mixture
   ex: salt water, air

2. heterogeneous: not uniform. so particles vary throughout the mixture
   ex: oil and water, sand and water.
