Primary Colors
Colors that make up all other colors when you are using pigment.
What are the primary colors?
Red, Yellow, Blue
Secondary Colors
Colors you create when you mix the primary colors
What are the Secondary Colors?
orange, green, purple (violet)
Tertiary Colors
Colors you create when you mix the primary and secondary colors that are next to each other on the color wheel
What are the tertiary colors?
red-orange, yellow-orange, yellow-green, blue-green, blue-violet, red-violet
Neutral Gray
The color you create when you mix all the colors together on the color wheel. It's in the middle of the wheel.
Tint
A color is added to white to create a lighter version of the color
Tone
Grey is added to a color to dull it
Shade
Black is added to a color to darken it
