Making predictions outside the original data range.

What are the dangers of extrapolation?

It is unreliable as the trend may not continue outside of the original data range.

What is the sampling distribution of sample means for X~N(μ,σ²)?

X̅~N(μ,σ²/n) where n is the sample size
