Organic

Contains carbon

Inorganic

Does not contain carbon

Micro element

Any mineral needed in a small amount by the body

Macro element

Any mineral needed in large amounts by the body

Cell

The smallest unit of life that contains cellular inclusions, known as organelles

Tissue

A group of similarly differentiated cells that perform a common function

Organ

A group of different tissues that work together to perform a common, specific function
