When do you use Zero conditional?

I use zero conditional when i need to talk about things that generally are true as Laws and rules

What is the structure of zero conditional?

Structure: if / when + present simple + present simple

EX: if you touch the fire you burn.

When do you use First conditional?

we use first conditional when we speak about future situations we belive are real o possible. (si esto pasa, pasara lo otro)

What is the structure of First conditional?

Structure: If/When + present simple >> will + infinitive

EX: If i dont study for tomorrow i won’t pass the test

Which words are usually use in the first conditional, and what they mean?

* As soon as: Tan pronto como.
* Unless: A menos que.
* In case: En caso
* As long as: Siempre y cuando.




1. i’ll leave **AS SOON AS** the babysitter arives
2. i don’t want to stay in london **UNLESS** i get a well-paid job
3. i’ll give you a key **IN CASE** i’m not at home
4. you can go to the party, **AS LONG AS** you’re back by midnight

When do you use Second conditional?

When we want to express Unreal posibilities, hypothetical situations or wishes

Situaciones no reales/ posibles (si pasara algo, pero NO pasa, pasaria esta otra cosa)

What is the structure of Second conditional?

Structure: If + past simple >> would + infinitive

EX: if i won a lot of money, i’d buy a big house

How do we use the verb to be when we are using second conditional?

We use WERE for all the pronouns, but we can use was for she,he,it also.

When do you use Third conditional and what it express?

Express impossibility, it is used to imagine a diferent past , it’s impossible to change the past

What is the structure of Third conditional?

Structure: if + past perfect >> would have + past participle

EX: If i had understood the instruction properly, i would have passed the examn
