-children are often motivated by peer relationships + romance

-compared post war (50s-60s) to 70-80s
-post war was presented positivley and hopefull but 70s was presented as darker and violent

was more about teens and crime then teens and any other subject
when teen boys were asked 85% said newspapers portray them in a bad light
