What is the intercept/factored form of the function f(x) = 2(x+3)(x - 1)?
y = 2(x+3)(x - 1)
How do you sketch the graph of f(x) = -(x + 1)(x - 5)?
Identify roots at x = -1 and x = 5, and observe the vertex's behavior.
What are the intercepts of f(x) = (x - 1)(x - 7)?
Intercepts are at x = 1 and x = 7.
Convert y = (x - 2)(x + 6) into intercept/factored form.
y = (x - 2)(x + 6) is already in intercept/factored form.
What is the factored form of y = 2x² + 4x - 126?
First, factor out 2 resulting in y = 2(x² + 2x - 63), then find roots.
What does the graph of y = (x - 1)² - 25 indicate?
This indicates a vertex at (1, -25), opening upwards.
