Badge Types

Blue, Red, Yellow, Green

Blue badges

Used for permanent employees of DLR or strategic partners and does not expire

Red badges

Used for visitors to DLR that require escorts throughout the building.

Yellow Badges

Permanent Customers or vendors of the customer

Green badges

Visitor badge for daily visitors or extended visitors for up to 30 days and does not need an escort.

The Access Approval Matrix - determines who (or what role) can approve what type of badge

Who approves temporary badge authorization?

MEO and sometimes property approval.

Who approves permanent badge authorizations?

MDCO approval

Who approves access to any PBB spaces?

Property approval

What do you do if you find a red escort badge with no escort?

Escort the person back to the lobby/security and alert security to the event.

Escorting requirements

Do not allow visitors into rooms without authorized access, refer them to security team.
