Proposition 1

A substance is prior to its modifications (modes).( Priority)

Proposition 2

Two substances cannot share the same attribute (uniqueness)

Proposition 3

Substance exists necessarily (it is self-caused) (necessity)

Proposition 4

A substance cannot be caused by another substance (independence)

Proposition 5

There cannot be two or more substances with the same attribute(singularity)

Proposition 6

A substance must be infinite(Infinity)

Proposition 7

A substance with infinite attributes exists — this is God (God/Nature)

Proposition 8

Everything that exists is in God.(ontological immanence)

Proposition 9

Without God, nothing can exist or be conceived(Dependence)

Proposition 10

God acts purely by the necessity of his own nature. (Necessity - again)

Proposition 11

God’s essence and existence are the same. (Identity)
