Canadian Explorer who claimed canada for france. He sailed across the Atlantic in 1534 and 1536 and explored the Gulf of St Lawerence and the lawrence River. He also met and interacted with iroquis indians.

Portuguese explorer who was the first European to sail directly to india from Europe by going around the southerntip of Africa. This created a profitable trade route

Drake completed a complete circumnavigation of the globe and also explored the coast of canada claiming it for england. He was granted permission to act as a pirate against spanish ships which increased tension between the nations
Ferdinand Magellan
Spanish explorer whose ships completed the first known circumnavigation of the globe. He however was killed in the phillipines in 1521 but his crew discovered a new passage from the atlantic to pacific ocean.
