non-relational hypothesis
expectation about the level or distribution of one or multiple variables
correlational hypothesis
states a relation between variables. There is a relationship between X & Y.
developmental hypothesis
states a development of one or more variables in time. X changes with time.
causal hypothesis
states a causal relation between variables. X causes a change in Y.
directional hypothesis
states the direction. as X increases/decreases, Y increases/decreases.
non-directional hypothesis
does not state the direction. as X changes, Y changes.
