Bipolar, schizophrenia, sleep.

Olanzepine (Zyprexa)

Bipolar, schizophrenia.

First-Generation (Typical)

Older medications that primarily block dopamine. Effective for psychosis but carry a higher risk of movement side effects.

Haloperidol (Haldol)

Schizophrenia, acute agitation.

Mood Stabilizers

Core medications for Bipolar Disorder to prevent and treat manic and depressive episodes.

Lithium

Bipolar Disorder (requires regular blood level monitoring)

Valproate (Depakote)
