The importance of tawheed ( monotheism )

• god created creation for the sake of monotheism

• God sent the messenger for the sake of monotheism

• All deeds are not accepted except with monotheism

Polytheists acknowledged the oneness of lordship but associated partners with oneness of divinity, worshipping idols, the sun and others

The ruling of polytheism. Associating partners with Allah

In this world : he leaves the fold of Islam

In the hereafter : if he dies without repenting, he will be eternally punished in the fire

The virtues of the Prophet

• he is the best of creation

• God granted him intercession, which is meditation

• He will be first to be resurrected from his grave on the day of judgment

Conditions for intercession ( who can meditate / make dua for you )

• gods permissions for the intercession

• Gods pleasure with the one for whom intercession is made

The life of the Prophet

1. The prophet lived an ascetic ( disciplined ) life

2. He was content with little and gave away his wealth in charity

3. His bed was made of leather stuffed with palm fibre, and his pillow was also stuffed in palm fibre

4. He left nothing behind after his death

1. It consisted of a single room

2. It was built of mud and bricks with palm frond roof

3. Its rooms were small

4. His house furniture : a prayer mat which he would pray at night and sit during the day, a chair.
