Mulhern
Critical about media portrayals of the Irish and says they're stereotyped as: 1) Homesick and drinking bad Guinness 2) Too successful to be homesick while making megabucks in the city e.g. Mrs Brown's boys, Greys anatomy.

Found that the Scottish feel under-represented in media portrayals and coverage. Noted the bias of TV programmes who excluded "smaller locations". "I think it (sport) is very much English broadcast and Scotland is quietly left behind" and "The Scottish person is always drunk and an abusive drunk at that"e.g. The Simpsons.
Graham

Vir, Hall and Foye
Found that in Wales, there was a perception that reality TV can be exploitative in their portrayal of the Welsh e.g, making money off the programmes Dirty Sanchez and The Valleys.
