An economic system in which there is no private property and the government produces goods.

Collective Farms

A large farm owned by the government and worked by many peasants.

Totalitarianism

A government in which a small group totally controls the lives of its country's citizens.

Great Purge

A campaign of terror in the Soviet Union during the 1930's, in which Joesph Stalin sought to eliminate all Communist Party members and other citizens who threatened his power.
