Where does it run?
emerges from the orbit → runs along and just below the frontal crest to the base of the horn

Where is the injection site?
Between the lateral canthus of the eye and the base of the horn along the crest dorsal to the temporal fossa.
The point of injection on this line is halfway between the lateral canthus of the eye and the base of the horn or about 2.5 cm below the base of the horn (bud).
