curving down - decelerating
straight horizontal - stationary
diagnal - constant speed
What do the direction of lines mean on a speed/time graph?
straight horizontal - constant speed
curve up - accelerating
curve down - decelerating
What are the lines like on a velocity/time graph?
exactly the same as a speed/time graph
Positive velocity
above horizontal axis and represents forward movement
Negative velocity
anything below axis and represents change in velocity
