Hessians are partying and Americans launch a surprise attack on christmas because they have all the boats and wins.

Battle of Princeton

A week after the Battle at Trenton, Washington left a few men to tend some campfires and fool the enemy again. He quietly marched his army to Princeton, where they suprised and beat a British force. New Jersey turned Patriot. This battle helped the American morale.

Battle of Germantown

Revolutionary war battle during which the Continental Army unsuccessfully attempted to drive the British out of Pennsylvania. Foggy and the British escape to the chew house and then colonial militia suffocates itself and loses.

Saratoga

A battle that took place in New York where the Continental Army win. Benedict Arnold does the work and doesn't get the credit. Horatio Gates claims he did everything. Turning point for the war bc Treaty of Alliance with the French

Battle of Monmouth

Von Steuben made the soldiers really strong, which made this battle a draw. Molly Pitcher famously brings water to the soldiers, but then her husband dies and she joins the fight and becomes a sergeant.

Battle of Vincennes

French town that surrendered to George Roger Clark's army but was recaptured by British without a fight; after a bloody fight, the town was once again in Patriot's hands

Battle of Savannah + Charleston

British were frusterated with their failure in the North. They thought people would serve the king if promised freedom. British wanted to occupy the ports of Savannah and Charleston. They wanted to bring the rebellion to an end and end American trade. The British won and in 1779- the French and American troops tried to recapture Savannah but failed with many deaths.

Battle of Camden

This was the 1780 battle during the American Revolution in which the British forces, led by Lieutenant General Lord Charles Cornwallis soundly defeated the Continental armed forces led by General Horatio Gates.

Kings Mountain

a 1780 Revolutionary War battle in South Carolina in which Patriots defeated a Loyalist militia. Militia only battle where the patriots won by using natural cover.
