Barbiturates

It is a hypnotic in low dose, but becomes a sedative in a much lower dose.

Benzodiazepine

It is a muscle relaxant drug.

Diazepam

A benzodiazepine that is also a mood stabilizer

Midazolam

A benzodiazepine that is a hypnotic and is mixed with zolazepam

Chlordiazepoxide

A benzodiazepine that normally causes icterus to the liver

Phenothiazine

They are tranquilizers and sedatives without analgesic effects

Acepromazine

Phenothiazine used in horses but causes priapism in Horses. (A painful erection in penis without sexual stimulation) 

Phenothiazine used as anti-emetic drug in dogs; also used as anti-arrhythmic drug.
