חֲגָבִים

לְהַעֲלוֹת

and isn't it so?

I found
הַדָּבָר
(the) matter
שְׁמַע מִינָהּ
You can infer from this
דְּאוֹרַיְיתָא
Torah law

Because if
סָלְקָא דַּעְתָּךְ
you would think to say
אֲכִילָה גּוּפָהּ
eating itself
אֲנָן
and we
נִגְזַר
we decree
הַעֲלָאָה אַטּוּ אֲכִילָה
putting on the table to prevent from eating
וּמְנָא תֵּימְרָא
and from where do we say
דְּלָא גַּזְרִינָן גְּזֵירָה לִגְּזֵירָה
that we dont make a decree for a decree
דִּתְנַן
because we learnined in a Mishna
חַלַּת חוּצָה לָאָרֶץ
the Challah of produce grown outside Eretz Yisrael
נֶאֱכֶלֶת
can be eaten
הַזָּר
the non-Kohen
וניתנת
and it may be given
לְכָל כֹּהֵן שֶׁיִּרְצֶה
to any cohen he wants
אָמַר לֵיהּ
he said to him
בִּשְׁלָמָא
I can understand
אִי אַשְׁמוֹעִינַן
if we were told
חַלַּת חוּצָה לָאָרֶץ בָּאָרֶץ
we can eat Challah from out of Israel in Israel
דְּאִיכָּא לְמִיגְזַר
that there is a reason to make a decree
מִשּׁוּם
because of
חַלַּת הָאָרֶץ
Challah of Israel
אִיכָּא

לְמִשְׁמַע מִינָהּ
to make an inference from it

אִי שָׁרֵית לֵיהּ

אָתֵי לְאַסּוּקֵי
he will come to place (upon the table)
וּמִיכַל
and (come to) eat
מַתְקִיף לָהּ
He raised an objection
סוֹף סוֹף
after all
צוֹנֵן בְּצוֹנֵן הוּא
it is cold (food) with cold (food)
שֶׁמָּא
maybe
יַעֲלֶה
he will place on (the table)
באילפס
in a pot/pan
רוֹתֵחַ
boiling
כְּלִי שֵׁנִי הוּא
it is a second vessel
אֵינוֹ מְבַשֵּׁל
it does not cook
מתני׳
The Mishna
הָעוֹף עוֹלֶה עִם הַגְּבִינָה
Chicken can be put on with cheese
עַל הַשּׁוּלְחָן
on the table
וְאֵינוֹ נֶאֱכָל
You cannot eat it
דִּבְרֵי ב״ש
these are the words of Bais Shammai
וב״ה אוֹמְרִים
And Bais Hillel says
לֹא עוֹלָה וְלֹא נֶאֱכָל
You cannot put it on or eat it
א״ר יוֹסֵי
Rav Yossi says
זוֹ
this
מִקּוּלֵי ב״ש
from the lenienciesof Bais Shammai
וּמֵחוּמְרֵי ב״ה
from the stringencies of Bais Hillel
בְּאֵיזֶה שׁוּלְחָן אָמְרוּ
on which table are we discussing?
בשולחן שֶׁאוֹכֵל עָלָיו
on a table which you eat at
אֲבָל בשולחן שֶׁסּוֹדֵר עָלָיו אֶת הַתַּבְשִׁיל
but on a table which you spread out food (Buffet table)
נוֹתֵן זֶה בְּצַד זֶה
you can put this next to this
וְאֵינוֹ חוֹשֵׁשׁ
and dont need to worry
רַבִּי יוֹסֵי הַיְינוּ ת״ק
The Gemara asks, "Rav Yossi is the same as the Tana Kama?"
וכ״ת
And if you will say
אֲכִילָה גּוּפָהּ אִיכָּא בֵּינַיְיהוּ
eating itself is the difference between them
דְּקָאָמַר ת״ק
that the Tana Kama says
בהעלאה קָא מִיפְלְגֵי
they argue about putting on the same table
בַּאֲכִילָה לֹא פְּלִיגֵי
by eating they do not argue
אֲכִילָה גּוּפָהּ
eating itself
וְהָתַּנְיָא
but we learned in a Braytah
שִׁשָּׁה דְּבָרִים
six things
וְזוּ אַחַת מֵהֶן
and this is one of them
אֶלָּא הָא קָמַשְׁמַע לָן
but we can learn from here
מַאן תַּנָּא קַמָּא
who is the Tana Kama?
כָּל הָאוֹמֵר דָּבָר בְּשֵׁם אוֹמְרוֹ
anyone who says something in the name of the one who (originally) said it
מֵבִיא גְּאוּלָה לָעוֹלָם
brings redemption to the world
שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר
as it says (In the Pasuk)
וַתֹּאמֶר אֶסְתֵּר לַמֶּלֶךְ בְּשֵׁם מָרְדְּכַי
And Esther told the king in the name of Mordechai
