Learning objectives

1. Define aggregate gradation from plot

2. Plot aggregate gradation on standard chart and 0.45 power chart

3. Identify maximum aggregate size and nominal maximum aggregate size by traditional and Superpave definitions

4. Perform gradation analysis & calculations

5. Blend multiple gradations to obtain gradation that meets specifications by trial & error method

6. Calculate "new" gradation if oversize rejected or % of intermediate size wasted
