What was the reason for victory in Europe?
Hitler had to fight on many fronts and insisted on making all the military decisions, but some turned out horrible like invasion of Soviet Union. USA was very productive, producing more supplies than all the Axis powers combined. Allies would bomb German production which made oil became more scarce.

Iwo Jima from February to March 1945 and Okinawa from April to July 1945. They would rather fight to death than surrender and estimated that invasion of Japan would cost million or more causalities.
