What does a resistor at a constant temperature entail?
The current and pd are directly proportional.
What does a filament lamp graph entail?
The resistance of the filament lamp increases as the temperature of the filament increases.
Explain the filament lamp graph.
As the current increases, the temperature of the filament increases also.
The atoms in the filament then vibrate, making it difficult for the electrons/current to pass through.
The resistance increases, so the current decreases.
Explain a diode graph
A diode only allows current to flow in one direction (forward bias).
In the reverse direction, current does not flow as the resistance is high.
