Catatonia (disordered movement) can be experienced at excitement (positive symptom)

Stupor (negative symptom) (rocking)

Negative symptoms

lack of a typical behavior, lack of emotional expression (flat affect), lack of movement (catatonic stupor)

Hyperactivity: someone is always moving, even when they should be sitting still. They might have trouble staying quiet or waiting their turn

Impulsivity: someone acts quickly without thinking about the consequences
